The hotel "Kavos" is located in a land of 12.000 sq.m. on the north-west coast of Akrotiri in the Prefecture of Chanea 15 km from the city of Chania, endued with an excellent dry climate and a stunning limpid atmosphere. Northern, north west and west adjoins the sea, 400 meters of sea rocky wild coast with crystal clear waters and two big rocky capes, (rocky cape is called "Kavos" in greek and that is how the hotel was named after) . To the east are founding the coast and the mountains of Stavros village-the place where «Zorbas the Greek» danced syrtaki incorporating a marina for your maritime access To the south is the village of Chorofakia from where a picturesque communal road leads to the Holy Monasteries of Agia Triada and Gouvernetos integrally linked with the tradition, the agonistic Cretan psyche and the power that flows from an unforced beauty. Western is the pretty bay of the village Tersanas with a small marina and a beautiful coast 11 km from the city of Chanea. The hotel was built in 1989 and fully renovated in 2002. The facility consists of 12 studios for 2 or 3 persons and 6 maisonnettes, where can be accomodated 4 persons, all with sea-view. Special baby-cot can be provided to our infant guests By the pool is the spacious restaurant (interior space 140 sq.m, patio 120 sq.m) where breakfast is served in the morning and many delicious traditional dishes are prepared, using home recipies and care, by our chef from early in the noon until late in the night. In the same place is the bar of the hotel where you can enjoy refreshing coctails as well as coffee and soft drinks. Diving courses and experiences are given in the hotel, grabbing the opportunity of the unique underwater beauty of the surrounding deep sea. During the summer season there is animateur for amusing the children and reliefing the parents. You are always welcomed, and it will be an honour for us, to discover all the above and enjoy the family atmoshpere of our facility.
