Recently renovated, the Monte Vardia has an attractive position high up on Crete's westernmost prefecture, a location with historical significance for the area. On the western side of the Aktrotiri Peninsula, the establishment is embraced by many pretty beaches and intriguing landscapes. Spend a day visiting the unique caves and rock formations, plus the monasteries and churches. East of Chania city centre, you have a quiet location, but a short drive will bring you to the hub of the action. Chania town has retained much of its traditional charm and character, but you will not struggle to find pleasant places to eat, drink and relax.
